Your choice of how long you want your images to appear on screen (from 3-10 seconds). If you have a lot of images-you would probably want less than 5 seconds. We recommend 3-4 seconds . However, if you are going to be talking about some pictures as they show on the screen, you might want to have your images on the screen longer.

Slideshow DVD (one copy) that will automatically play when inserted in a DVD player.

Chapter Titles. You can have a title (and a chapter on the opening menu) for each group of photos you send us. Here are some examples:

    Trip to Lake Tahoe
    Family Reunion – Summer 1996
    Grandpa’s 70th Birthday Party – July 1998

Your Music. If you have certain songs that you want to add to the slideshow instead of using ours, you can send us the music. Send an Email to support@whiteglovephotoscan.com and attach the song files. (This will only work if the song can be copied from one computer to another without digital rights issues.) For example, downloaded iTunes songs will not work, if they have Digital Rights Management (DRM) enabled. The new iTunes Plus songs are DRM-free and can be easily copied. If you can copy your song to another computer and it works, it is DRM-free. You can also send your CDs, which will be returned with your images, indicating the title and what chapter you want the song to play with. Here is an example of what you would write if you were sending in your own CD:

In the pictures you send us, put a card with each group of pictures that you have placed in Ziploc bags. The card would be labeled “Trip to Lake Tahoe”, “Family Reunion”, etc. For more information on this, see our FAQ section.

Many people are confused about the difference between a Computer CD/DVD and a Slideshow DVD. The Computer CD/DVD of your images will not “play” on your DVD player. When we say “play” we mean with the pictures showing one after another on the screen and titles and music playing. If you want something that will play on your DVD player, you need to order a slideshow.
